As I have shared I favor using a black background for my botanical images, however, I'm always experimenting with different presentations. In this image I arranged the bee and Cosmo flower down on the flatbed scanner platen and covered them with a printed photograph of a Hydrangea. Placing a lamp directly behind the print give a hallow light affect.
